New Member Orientation
Anyone interested in joining the Center attends a free orientation called Intro to Sex Positive Culture, and then may join as a Friend. Our Intro is a great way to get a better idea of who we are and how we work, ask us questions, and tour the space. There is no obligation to join. All You Can Eat cards are available for new members.
If you would like to see the space and talk to members before attending an orientation, our free Drop-In Tuesday Social is a great weekly event to visit. Also, any event that does not specify "members and their guests only" and just says "18+" is open to the public.
Foundation events like workshops and discussion groups are open to anyone 18+. In addition, there are lots of free meet and greet opportunities you might consider attending.
Intro to Sex Positive Culture
The Intro to Sex Positive Culture is a mandatory orientation that all potential members must attend before joining, and is designed to introduce the broad range of experiences available at the Center for Sex Positive Culture. The orientation provides attendees with a history of sex positive culture in Seattle, and reviews some of the expectations and etiquette expected at our events. Orientations also include a question-and-answer period so that attendees can get any additional information.
The staff usually begins new membership paperwork during orientation. After orientation ends, attendees pay for the membership of their choice and become new members. The costs and benefits of our various levels of membership are outlined below. We also have an exciting deal for new members -- the All You Can Eat Card
If you are undecided about joining, ask the staff to wait until the end of orientation to fill out the paperwork. There is no obligation to join.
Please note: we ask for your email address when you join the Center because it's important for us to stay in touch with you. Yahoo bounces a lot of our emails, particularly our newsletter, so if you have an alternate account (especially gmail), please use that one. As always, privacy is of the utmost importance -- we do not share your email address.
Orientations are generally held every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. If these times don't work for you, please write us to arrange a special orientation. Please check our schedule to verify dates, as orientations are changed or canceled from time to time.

*** Please note, orientations are restricted to people with picture ID showing that they are over 18 years old. We accept Visa/MC and Visa/MC debit cards and cash and money orders. No checks please.
Membership Levels
All Prices effective 1/1/2012 and subject to change
Basic Memberships
Friend - $60 per year
Friends may attend all of our events at member attendance rates. All Friends can bring up to two non-member guests to any Center event at the guest attendance rates.
Premium Memberships
Partner - $85 per month or $900 per year
Partners attend most of our regular events for free.*
Partners may bring up to five non-member guests to our members-only events at member attendance rates. Partners may also have up to three free hours of space usage each month on a nonexclusive, first-come first-served basis (subject to space availability and cancellation fees).
Partners may choose from two options for payment:
$85 per month, with a $50 one-time setup fee payable with the first month's payment - or-
$900 per year, paid in cash, money order or credit card
Lover - $170 per month or $1800 per year
Lovers attend most of our regular events for free.*
Lovers may bring one member or non-member guest to our members-only events at no additional charge and may also bring up to eight additional non-member guests at member attendance rates. Lovers may also have up to six free hours of space usage each month on a nonexclusive, first-come first-served basis (subject to space availability and cancellation fees).
Lovers may choose from two options for payment:
$170 per month, with a $50 one-time setup fee payable with the first month's payment - or-
$1800 per year, paid in cash, money order or credit card
Renewing Your Membership:
Near the end of your membership, our computer system will alert the cashiers that your membership is about to expire. You can renew your membership at any regular CSPC event. Once your membership expires, you will get 4 reminders to renew your membership without penalty. Renewing your membership allows you to retain all of your membership privileges. After 4 reminders, you will be required to pay guest attendance rates (usually $10 more than members). After 2 years, you will be asked to attend a New Member Orientation to be brought up to date on any rules or guidelines that may have changed.
*Some events require Premium Members to pay. These include events with extra costs (like the Chateau and FemDomme Tea), offsite events (like the Monthly Pool Party), and special events like our annual New Year’s Eve party. These restrictions do not apply to Lifetime Members (below).
Lifetime Memberships
Avoid the hassle of expiration dates and renewals with our Lifetime Membership options.
Lifetime Partner
Lifetime Partners have all the same benefits as Partners (above), and attend all onsite CSPC events for free. Lifetime Partners may also use the Annex up to two times a year for their own private events (subject to availability and our Facility Rules).
A Lifetime Partner Membership costs $8,000 and can be paid in four quarterly installments in the first year.
Lifetime Lover
Lifetime Lovers have all the same benefits as Lovers (above), and attend all onsite CSPC events for free. Lifetime Lovers may also use the Annex up to two times a year for their own private events (subject to availability and our Facility Rules).
A Lifetime Lover Membership costs $15,000 and can be paid in four quarterly installments in the first year.
Premium and Lifetime Membership does not apply to FSPC events or events away from the Center, such as the Monthly Pool Party, Steampunk Exhibition Ball, Seattle Erotic Art Festival, or Paradise Unbound.
The "All You Can Eat" Card
Get our fabulous "All You Can Eat" card and play as often as you like for one month!
- If you were to go to every party at the Center for a month, it would cost ~$500...
- Attending every Saturday night party at the Center in a regular month would cost $80.
- You get that for one low price!
New Members – not sure where to start? The “All You Can Eat” Card is our best deal for new members. The “All You Can Eat” card allows entry to most CSPC events for free for one month!
Basic Membership at the Center costs $60. For an additional $40, purchase an “All You Can Eat” card and attend most CSPC events free for one month.
Renewing Members – With the expansion of the CSPC space and the addition of so many new parties, there are more events than ever! The “All You Can Eat” card allows you to check out all of these new events, meet new people, and make new connections, all at one low price.
Current Members can purchase an “All You Can Eat” card for $75 when they renew their membership.
The “All You Can Eat” card pairs nicely with our Passport Program!
The “All You Can Eat” (AYCE) card allows entry to all regular onsite events, except where Premium members are required to pay. Where Premium members are required to pay, AYCE cardholders pay the same price as Premium members. Currently, only a few events require premium members to pay. Please see the calendar for detais. AYCE Cards are not accepted at Foundation events.
