CSPC Board member, EC/monitor lead, tasting top lead

Hello, my name is Jadzia, and I use She/Her pronouns. I Identify as Queer and Trans, and generally kinky.

I came to the CSPC in 2018, soon after the organization started holding parties again after its original location shut down. I wanted to check out the CSPC because I was kinky and I wanted to find play partners and community. More so I wanted to explore what sex, intimacy, and kink meant to me as a person who is Queer and Trans. I came to the Center for Sex Positive Culture because it advertised itself as a space that was body positive, sex positive, and inclusive of all sexualities and gender expressions. I was not disappointed in what I found.

Pretty soon after attending my first party, I started to volunteer. At a fairly steady pace I went from helping parties in set up to registration and monitoring, finally taking over hosting duties of the All In party, which continues to run until today in a semi regular manner. I currently cohost the online Queer Discussion group and the LaQueer party. I want to make the kind of events I would attend, but more than that I am committed to making sure this organization, and the spaces we create, are inclusive and as safe as possible.
