Huckleberry’s first experience with kink and consent culture was at age 18 when they become involved in the AIDS Network and spent their time handing out condoms and pamphlets in parks. They also promoted sex education by running booths and volunteering for events. It quickly became a passion for them to learn as much as possible finding the gaps not just in school education but the medical community in general.

She is a capable problem solver, able to organize people and spreadsheets. Logistically, kink still requires the same level of planning and problem solving as anything else in life.

In closing Huckleberry says: "Consent culture will fundamentally change the way you view sex. But are you prepared for the ways it will change your relationships with your bosses, coworkers and friends? Take my hand and say “no” to people pleasing for the first time."
