CSPC Board Member

Hi, I’m Skitty and my pronouns are she/her. I am a pansexual, polyamorous, kinky, cis woman. I have dedicated most of my life to education, caregiving, and activism. I’ve always been sex positive and started volunteering as a safer sex educator for the Kingston AIDS Project, back in 1994. A lot occurred in the following decades, including moving from Canada to the United States, a career in special education, and raising a family.

In 2016, I joined the CSPC where I have volunteered in quite a number of capacities. Past roles include President, HR Director, and Conflict Resolution Coordinator. Currently, I shift from one area of need to the next as a Board Member at large. I also volunteer as an Event Coordinator, New Member Orientation Leader, Consent Advocate, and online Host and Tech Host for More Amore: A Consensual Nonmonogamy Discussion. Throughout all of this, my main focus is building and maintaining a culture of consent, through ongoing education, easily accessible resources, recognition of autonomy, and promotion of personal agency.

I believe we need to build the communities in which we wish to live, so that’s what I’m doing. I invite you to roll up your sleeves and join in the fuckery.
