March 28–April 6

Theatre Off Jackson: Sleeping Beauty: a literary burlesque ($25–$50 | in person)

Once upon a time . . . a curse befell a princess, placing her in a deep and dreamful sleep. This spring . . . Noveltease Theatre journeys into a dreamworld of faeries, witches, beasts, and magic inspired by fairy tales and folklore from around the world in Sleeping Beauty and the Bear Prince, told in our signature literary burlesque format.

April 10

Papaya Project: Sex Trivia ($10–$20 | in person)

This monthly event is the best way to learn about and celebrate pleasure, queerness, and the science of sex! A portion of each ticket will be donated to Rat City Roller Derby, Seattle's premier flat-track roller derby league.

April 13–27

Consent Academy: The Accountability Series ($105–$180 | online)

Accountability processes and pods have the potential to repair relationships and strengthen communities. At the same time, they are also very specific, time and labor intensive methods of creating accountability with plenty of risks associated with them. This spring, join the Consent Academy for a series on the skills and knowledge needed to increase your chances of a successful accountability process or pod. Each class will be recorded for later viewing.

Sex Positive World: The Pleasure Talk ($0–$25 | online)

Join us for an interactive workshop on creating safer sex and more pleasurable connections through awesome communication! 

April 18-27

On the Boards: Cherdonna & The Bearded Ladies | Threesome ($20–$29 | in person)

Welcome to Threesome: an evening of three solo drag, dance, and cabaret artists searching for stability while living in uncertainty with all the tools they can find in an active auto body shop. Expect an hour of pleasure, punk rock, and spectacle.

April 26–29

Seattle Erotic Art Festival ($28–$350 | in person)

The annual weekend-long event that showcases erotic art in diverse media including painting, photography, sculpture, film, literature, and interactive installations. A wide range of performance art is also represented, including burlesque, ballroom dance, circus arts, and live music.

May 8–12

The Pleasure Witch Retreat with Nadia Lune ($1,900 CAD | in person)

Where women and vulva bodied beings come together to heal in community and remember our greatest power and magic. Healing in community amplifies the process immensely because this is the way our ancestors healed before patriarchy ripped us apart and pinned us against each other.

Abbey Arts: Bandit Theater: Swipe Right [IMPROV] ($15–$22.50 | in person)

One brave soul from our audience will plug their dating profile into a projector and allow comedians to critique their online presence. Then the improvisers will do a set of improv comedy based on the profile. You’ll laugh, you’ll judge, you’ll fall in love.

February 7

Papaya Project: Sex Trivia ($10–$20 | in person)

Join us for a fun, educational night of sex trivia and to fundraise for comprehensive sexuality education! A portion of each ticket will be donated to Pleasure Pie, a grassroots sexual justice organization based in Boston, MA.

February 9+ (three weekends in February)

Acrobatic Conundrum: THREADS ($17.50–$100 | in person)

THREADS is a circus paean to the fibers that intertwine to make up our lives and universe, that connect us and string together our story. Pendant, taut, and resonant, the cast of acrobats weave their stories together via the fiber-centric movement arts of aerial rope, trapeze, slackrope, and hair-suspension, all set to a soulful score played by chanteuse and multi-instrumentalist, Kamila.

Are you a Sexuality Educator, Counselor, Therapist, or other sexuality-related professional living in Seattle? Join us for this special meet-up, where we will discuss sexuality and spirituality.

Pan Eros Foundation: CBT: Squeezing, Smacking, and Stretching ($30 | in person)

This rope workshop will be a hands-on class with active participation and rope tying. We will briefly analyze the various aspects of CBT such as male anatomy, health risks, and safety precautions to keep in mind. We will then discuss various techniques for squeezing, smacking, and stretching the cock and balls. We will then conclude with 3 different CBT ties and practical hands-on practice with step-by-step follow-along instructions.

Let's get together in a safe and welcoming environment and make stuff! Whatever craft floats your boat. We have plenty of table space and some tools you can use while you're here.

Sex Positive World: Challenging Amatonormativity ($0–$25 | online)

This presentation delves into the hidden world of genetics, neuroscience and medicine. We shall be discussing 11 sex chromosomal compositions that we know of today, presented alongside brain imaging studies of hypothalamic areas (BNST and SDN-POA/INAH 3 Cluster) that recognize gender change in an individual. Neural bases of monogamous and non-monogamous behaviors and advanced medical research into in-vitro gametogenesis and parthenogeneis, shall also be presented.

Sex Positive World: Awesome Boundaries Around the World ($0–$25 | online)

Whether you’ve been taught to go against your own boundaries in order to please others or to push hard for what you want, or a mix of both, this on-line workshop is a place to explore together how we each got to where we are today with boundaries and how to get to a better place in how we set and receive boundaries.

This class helps us all think about the many power dynamics that affect us when we interact in sex positive community. This is a core class in SPW for all of us wanting to learn more about how we show up/speak up/receive feedback from others when we share space together. It’s a good space for beginners who are eager to learn as well as for experienced community members who want more tools and techniques to navigate sexy spaces well.

SEA-PAH: Meet & Sniff Social

Come be social during SEA-PAH's monthly Meet & Sniff! Meet up with some old friends, make some new ones, and join with other members of the Pack as we invade CC's Seattle.

Kremwerk: T4T All Trans and Non-Binary Drag Show

September 9 ($17 | in person)

T4T is the longest running by and for all transgender and non-binary produced and casted drag show in Seattle, a one of a kind celebration of trans drag artists. T4T is a place for trans folks to enjoy drag, enjoy gender euphoria, find community, and be with people who understand them.

Sex-Positive World: Neurobiology of Trauma

September 10 ($0–25 | online)

This workshop will shed light on how stress and trauma can alter brain functioning during sexual assaults and other traumatic experiences. We’ll look at the impairment of the prefrontal cortex, the activation of the defense circuitry and the display of reflexes and habits harbored by us for centuries.

Consent Academy: Foundations of Consensual Kink

September 19 ($25–45 | online)

Foundations of Consensual Kink will cover the basics of consent for kink, exploring what you need to know about kinky spaces, giving guidance on how to negotiate, and introducing steps on how to be accountable if things go wrong.

Pan Eros: Walk All Over Me - Trampling 101

September 20 ($22 | in person)

Whether you love the idea of walking all over your partner or being the one stepped on, this is the class for you! We’ll cover some basic techniques to minimize the likelihood of harm, discuss appropriate footwear (or lack thereof), and offer suggestions on how to add other kinks into the mix to spice up your trampling session.

Trivia questions will cover a wide variety of sex and sexuality-related topics, so get ready to challenge yourself, learn something new, and have a good time. There will be PRIZES for the winning teams!

Beacon Cinema: The Defilers

September 29 ($13.12 | in person)

Everything they touch is stained! The Defilers are Carl and Jameison, a pair of sadistic beatniks who spice up their boring lives by imprisoning an innocent young woman (the "mouth-watering 20-year-old Scandinavian screen find" Mai Jansson) in the basement of an abandoned building. A quintessential "roughie," The Defilers is a stylishly squirm-inducing shocker from exploitation film legends David F. Friedman and R. Lee Frost.

Seattle Leather Service Corps: FFuck Yeah - Intermediate Guide to Fisting

September 30 - (donation | in person)

This in-person lecture-style class and 20-30 minute fisting demo briefly covers the basics of (anal) fisting and then goes into more detail about techniques, tips & tricks, pacing, coming down and ending a fisting scene. The class time has been extended to allow for a longer demo where the instructor and demo partner will dive “deeper.” The focus will be less on how to take a fist or put one in for the first time, and more on what to do once inside.

Seattle Queer Film Festival - Early Bird Passes on Sale

October 12–29 ($100+ | in person and virtual)

The 28th Annual Seattle Queer Film Festival runs October 12-22 (in-person) and October 22-29 (virtual) in venues in Capitol Hill and Columbia City, with virtual reach including Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. Our theme for this year’s festival is “Queer Joy Is Cinematic”, while we also explore what ‘queer joy’ means to all members of our community, recognizing we must fight and exist in equal measure.
