F*cking Fabulous Fall Fundraiser: Wrap Up & Community Treats!

Huge gratitude from the CSPC Board and our community for your participation in the 2022 F*cking Fabulous Fall Fundraiser! Your donated items and winning bids raised $4,912 to support CSPC programming—well OVER our goal of $4,444! You ROCK!

Thanks to those of you who volunteered your time and energy to set up and manage the online auction, those of you who donated your services and your stuff, those of you who helped generate higher donations by bidding on those treasures, and those of you who supported the CSPC with your winning bids. We couldn't have done this without ALL of you!

Winning bidders were contacted directly via email to process their donations and make arrangements for receiving their items. To ease the disappointment the rest of us are feeling, here are a few follow-up opportunities:

  • As a special thank you to our community for all the ways you contribute to making the CSPC the welcoming, sexy space it is, Board member (and item donor) Eirikah is offering a coupon for 25% off any sex & relationship coaching intensive or package with Desire Alchemy. Just use coupon code CSPCFFFF at the time of booking on her website!

  • If you missed out on a particular item, be sure to check the item description for an email address or business website of the item donor to reach out and make a direct purchase. Items are still visible on the auction website.

Thank you again for all the ways you contribute to the CSPC community!

As always, contact the CSPC with any questions at info@thecspc.org.

Stay safe, stay sexy, and have a happy holiday season!

The CSPC Board

Community Matters: New Events Director and Volunteer Training

At the December 2022 Board meeting, the Board president read a letter from Sakari regretfully sharing that she is stepping down from the Board effective immediately in order to take some time for recovery from recent health concerns. The CSPC Board would like to express our gratitude to Sakari for her years of service on the Board of Directors and as Events Director this past year. Under Sakari’s leadership in Events, we successfully returned to hosting in-person events and more than doubled the number of events (in-person and online) available for our community every month. We are sorry to lose her energy and dedication on the Board, but we look forward to seeing her continued participation in our community after some well-deserved rest and healing.

We are delighted to announce that Jadzia has agreed to step into the role of Events Director for the CSPC. While Jadzia is one of our newest Board members, she is a powerhouse who also serves as EC Team Lead, Tasting Top Lead, and a member of the Champion team for three parties–All In, LaQueer, and Sense & Sensuality–among the many ways she supports the CSPC community as a volunteer. We can’t wait to see what the next year holds in Events! Got great ideas about Events? Share them using our feedback form here or email Jadzia at EventsDirector@theCSPC.org!

We want YOU to be the next rockstar volunteer! Join us on January 26, 2023, from 7-9 p.m., for our next volunteer training. Monitor training will run from 7-8 p.m. and Registration training will run 8-9 p.m. Registration is open now–log into Volgistics and register for the training on January 26 to get the Zoom link!

Not yet a volunteer, but want to get in on the action? Join the volunteer corps today! Just complete the on-demand online volunteer orientation and submit the volunteer application located on the Volunteering webpage. It’s that simple! The more parties we host, the more volunteers we need to keep things running smoothly. The CSPC is a fully volunteer-led, volunteer-run non-profit organization created by our members for our members. Become a volunteer and help chart the CSPC’s future!

Let's Get F*cking Fabulous!

The F*cking Fabulous Fall Fundraiser is off to a blazing hot start! Our online auction is filled with items donated by our community members–services and stuff that you just can’t find anywhere else! This is the perfect opportunity to do a little holiday shopping with all the money going to support your own sex-positive community. And don’t forget to treat yourself!

Check out the unique “stuff” like a handcrafted amethyst choker with two pairs of matching earrings, a four foot tall original painting representing the CSPC’s founder, Allena Gabosch (see the “secret links” on the auction site for full-length, unedited images!), two sexy Liberator lounges, a Pride-themed X-Box controller, first-peek CSPC swag, a black leather kilt, or your very own Sybian for a ride you’ll never forget.

Maybe a one-of-a-kind “service” is just the thing for you or your dear ones: coffee with a Femdom, a tarot reading to carry you into the new year, lunch for four (salad, soup, and dessert) cooked from Allena’s favorite recipes, a private fire play class, editorial services to make your communications sparkle, blade sharpening, lunch with the Board President, or a double Dom date night that takes your breath away. (Services do not include genital touch or two-way nudity in compliance with CSPC policies and local law regarding exchanging money (via auction) for sex acts.)

All proceeds go to support the CSPC and our community. This is the most fun you’ll have donating to a nonprofit organization this season! Join us for the bidding extravaganza at the F*cking Fabulous Fall Fundraiser and get a little something special with your year-end giving. Bidding ends at noon on Friday, December 9. We’re just over half way to our fundraising goal–help us reach the magic number of $4,444!

Want to contribute but auctions just aren’t your jam? Donate today! The spirit of the F*cking Fabulous Fall Fundraiser is coming together as a community to share our resources and skills to support the CSPC. Huge thanks to all our volunteers and donors–those who donated items, those who purchase them, and those who donate. Your contributions make our community f*cking fabulous!

Community Matters: Increased Ticket Cap!

We are delighted to announce that the CSPC Board voted at our November meeting to increase the cap on tickets sold for our events at Gallery Erato from 120 to 140 tickets sold beginning January 1, 2023. With this increase, we will be back at full capacity for our venue–and more community members at events means more fun!

We regularly get emails from folx who missed out on sold out parties, and we’re so grateful that your willingness to take care of each other by wearing N95/KN95 or equivalent masks at events, rapid testing before attending parties, staying home whenever you’re sick, and getting vaccinated when possible has created a space where we feel safe welcoming more of our community into our space.

As of January 1, 2023, the CSPC’s COVID mitigation protocols include:

  • Required: wearing N95/KN95 or equivalent masks at indoor events except when actively eating, drinking, or participating in a scene.

  • Cap of 140 tickets sold per event.

  • Highly encouraged: vaccination and rapid testing before attending events.

  • Laundry professionally washed and sanitized.

  • Equipment disinfectant on site so members can clean equipment before and after use.

  • We are also still offering tickets to a future party for folx who stay home due to illness–thank you for helping keep our community healthy!

We continue to monitor the public health conditions, and we will announce any future changes to our protocols before tickets where those protocols would be in force go on sale. It’s important to us that everyone makes their personal health-related decisions with all the information available. Informed consent matters!

We can’t wait to see (more of) you enjoying the hotness of our community!

Stay safe, stay sexy,

The CSPC Board

Community Matters: Seven Things I'm Thankful For

by Eirikah Delaunay

It’s almost Thanksgiving here in the States, and I’m reflecting on the things I’m thankful for this week:

  1. Wicked Wordplay–This monthly online erotica writing and reading event creates a space of shared delight in the sexiness of the written word. Free for all CSPC members, $5 for non-members. Join us for all the fun on Wednesday, November 23!

  2. Community–The community I found at the CSPC has led me to my chosen family. I love the ways that we care for each other and support this all-volunteer sex-positive organization.

  3. Virtual Orphan Thanksgiving–Members of our community are gathering online from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 24 (Thanksgiving Day) to enjoy the laughter and support of being in good company on the holiday. Free for all–bring your own drumstick!

  4. Volunteers–The CSPC’s volunteers make all the sexy magic happen! Whether it’s serving at in-person parties, moderating our Discord server, or answering emails and issuing refunds when life happens, every task at the CSPC is done by a volunteer. Not yet a volunteer? Join us today! Many hands make light work.

  5. The Fucking Fabulous Fall Fundraiser–I can’t wait to see all the yummy goodness donated by our community members when the auction goes live on Friday, November 25! I’m excited to learn more about our community members through the items and services they donate, and I’m looking forward to helping support the CSPC through doing some of my holiday shopping at the auction. It’s not too late to donate your skills or stuff!

  6. Femme Dominion–So much hotness all in one space! This bi-monthly party for Femme Tops and the people who admire them is always a scorcher. Join the conflagration on Saturday, November 26!

  7. Community–Yes, this one makes the list twice. Your creativity, caring, and commitment make the CSPC the special organization it is. Haven’t been to an event in a while? Now’s the perfect time to reconnect with all the hotness! Check out the events calendar here and renew your membership here. Not yet a member? Sign up for a New Member Orientation to join in all the fun.

Thank you all for all the ways you contribute to making the CSPC a beacon for consent culture, inclusivity, and sexual freedom. <3

Fucking Fabulous Fall Fundraiser–Last Week to Donate!

We’re getting excited for the launch of the Fucking Fabulous Fall Fundraiser! Our auction site goes live at 9 a.m. on Black Friday (November 25) and we’ll be taking bids until noon on Friday, December 9.

Some of our latest donations include paintings, photography, artisan-crafted jewelry, a leather kilt, and a leather vest. It’s not too late to share your skills or stuff with us–donate today!

What can you add to the auction in support of the CSPC community? Maybe you can provide a service like an hour of technical assistance (yes, MailChimp is my nemesis, okay?) or a gardening consultation. Maybe you can teach a skill like fire play or scene negotiation. Maybe you knit or paint or build amazing customized music playlists. Maybe you have amazing taste and you’re ready to let some gently-used items go. The uniqueness of each item is part of what makes this event so much fun–let us get to know you (and your business, if applicable) while supporting the CSPC!

(Donations of services that involve two-way nudity or sex acts will not be accepted, in alignment with CSPC policy.)

Stay tuned for a special email next week announcing the auction site!

1, 2, 3 PPMT! November for You & Me!

Show up to the party on November 12 to find out who our staff voted PPMT October Volunteer of the Month!

1! GET STICKERED!!! Come Sat Nov. 12th & greet our Champions Laura, Maggie & Rowan! Find them, say HI & they will consensually put a sticker on you in a mutually agreed-upon location!

2! MEET OUR CHAMPIONS

Laura says: Many years ago a friend of mine was asked "How would you describe Laura in one sentence?” His reply was "Nice girl, easy to dance to." This description still tickles me. So now I will try to sum myself up in just a few words. First off, I am an empath, or "a highly sensitive person." I feed off of and feel the emotions and energy of others. This makes me a fan of energy exchange. I am a switch. I enjoy the duality of this very much. I like sensual domination with the right partner, but I also enjoy bottoming to pain play. I am a masochist. I am usually an outgoing person and I am open to further discussing some of my kinks if asked nicely. I do love meeting new people most days. There are times when I prefer to keep to myself and simply observe. Again, with the duality. I have been a member of the CSPC for nearly a decade and I love the sense of community and belonging I have experienced.

Maggie says: A Midwest transplant, I’ve been a member at the CSPC for a little over a year. I was excited to join the community when I moved to Seattle. As I am particularly passionate about sex positivity and accessibility in kink. I enjoy attending classes, parties, and munches. Though vanilla obligations limit my schedule. I identify as a Domme and live a full-time D/s dynamic with my partner. I enjoy a variety of kinks and types of play and am not shy about talking about them or getting to learn about others. I’m definitely an extrovert and am always happy to connect at events or on discord. At PPMT you’ll most likely find me doing just that!

Rowan de Sade says: I’m not really good at defining myself as it depends a lot on who you are and what our interaction may be.  Mostly defined as a switch, but only with my Sir.  I am a top and love the interaction of power play, heavy impact and just having some fun with pushing boundaries a bit.  I have been a member of the Center for over 14 years and have seen some amazing changes. Currently, I volunteer at Power Play Mixed Tape as a Champion.  I love to introduce new techniques to folks.  Please drop by and say hello at PPMT.

3! Saint Allena's Helping Handies Fundraiser & Disadvantaged Outreach Project

The Power Play Mixed Tape Team is challenging ourselves & you to help with the Saint Allena's Helping Handies disadvantaged outreach fundraiser. The CSPC’s founder, Allena Gabosch, used to create small bags (with gloves, socks, toiletries, and perhaps a few dollars in them) to distribute to those living on the streets at Christmas. She and a few friends walked around handing them out...very much a project from their hearts, just personally reaching out to talk to folks.

We want to follow in her footsteps. We are asking for people to donate new or gently used hats/scarfs and gloves, new socks, and toiletries such as travel-size toothpaste, comb, toothbrush, mouthwash, shampoo, and soap. Or donate to the gofundme at https://gofund.me/3533bce9 by December 10, and we will use the resources to get bulk amounts.

Anyone who wants to join us will be invited to meet up to decorate, fill, and hand out the bags in the Pioneer Square area! Questions? Email ppmt@thecspc.org.

Note: This fundraiser is not overseen by or financially associated with the CSPC. Members of the PPMT team are volunteering their time to organize this for the community.

Get your November PPMT tickets here! Not yet a member? Get your New Member PPMT tickets here! New Member tickets include mandatory New Member Orientation, your first month’s membership fee, and party entry.

Community Matters: Registration and Monitor Training

After a bit of a wait due to some packed schedules - we have an online/Zoom training scheduled for Monday, November 14th, for Monitoring (6-7pm) and Registration (7-8pm) to get you started on the path towards volunteering for these roles.

To sign up, please log into Volgistics (or create your account if you haven't already - using the new volunteer steps here to get started: https://thecspc.org/volunteering) and sign up for each class you plan to attend - a shortened link to the Zoom meeting is included in the shift information. Signing up in Volgistics for the classes will help us update accounts more quickly after each class as well as letting the team know you plan on attending (in case of any technical difficulties or similar, we can send a note to let you know what's going on).

If you have opted in for 'Schedule Reminder' communications, you will also receive the link via email 2 days before the training.

A couple notes on training:

  • Monitor class attendees will have completed the first step on the path for monitoring. You'll work with monitorlead@thecspc.org to schedule shadow shifts for training with a monitor at events before you will be able to sign up for monitoring on your own.

  • Registration class attendees should be ready for shifts right away (please allow up to 1 week for Volgistics to be updated after class)

Not yet a volunteer? It’s not too late to be included in this training! Just follow the steps here to complete your on-demand online volunteer orientation and complete your online volunteer application.
