The holidays are a busy time of year, and it can often feel like our time is spread thin between work, travel, and baking kinky gingerbread people. If you’re looking to contribute to the CSPC, but you don’t have the time to volunteer or the funds to donate, you can still do us a giant favor by taking our monthly survey. Your answers will help inform our decisions as an organization and keep an eye on the issues important to you. The best part? It will only take 2 minutes.

What is that niche kink you wish we had a party for? We are exploring the idea of Pop-up Parties for themes that likely would not draw enough attendees to pay rent. Space would be set aside within a larger party for your special interest. It’s a party within a party! So what would your niche dream theme be? Let us know.

 

New Year- New Parties!
Is there a specific event that the CSPC should host? Is there an event from the old space that you miss? The Programming committee is looking for enthusiastic people to get the ball rolling on bringing new (and old) parties to life at the CSPC. They will help you plan, staff, and host your very own CSPC party! All it takes is a great idea and a can-do attitude. Email programming@thecspc.org to get started.

 

How Can I Get Into Parties for Free?
Have you ever found yourself standing at the snack table wishing that there was something to do while you worked up the courage to talk to that really cute stranger? Well, now there is! Talking to that cute stranger could be your job! Come volunteer with us! Not only does volunteering help integrate new folks into our community, but it also gets you into the party for free! Our next volunteer orientation is on January 10th. Once you attend the orientation, join the CSPC Volunteers Google Group, which is where we post links to upcoming volunteer opportunities. Want to work behind the scenes? We are also currently seeking specialty volunteers in two categories: party admin and editorial writers. If you have experience in these matters and would like to share your talents with the CSPC please email nick@thecspc.org.
